About Us
ipaddresslocation.net helps you instantly view your public IP address and see an approximate IP address location derived from reputable IP geolocation datasets—without tracking you.
Our Mission
Make network information (IPv4/IPv6, ISP/ASN, time zone, and IP location) simple, fast, and privacy-respecting for everyone.
How It Works
When you load the Site, your browser shares your public IP so the internet can route responses back to you. We momentarily process that IP to display your IP details and an approximate IP location. To improve performance for repeat lookups, we use a short-lived cache that is purged periodically.
Accuracy & Limitations
IP geolocation points to a network location (for example, an ISP point of presence), not a street address. VPNs, corporate networks, mobile carriers, and anycast routing can shift the apparent location. For more, see our Disclaimer.
Values We Follow
Privacy by design: minimal collection, no tracking, no profiling. Clarity: clear, user-friendly explanations of what IP data can and cannot tell you. Performance: lightweight pages and fast responses. Neutrality: no dark patterns; essential features are free to use.
Responsible Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it via our Contact page with the subject “Security”. Please avoid public disclosure until we confirm a fix.
Data Sources & Attribution
We combine reputable IP geolocation datasets and public routing information (for example, ASN/ISP data). Sources may change over time; accuracy can vary by region and network policies.
